Cry Prophet Cry!
God still speaks to us today through His servants, the prophets.
Prophets were inspired and spoke under the direction of the Holy Spirit. However, Jehovah allowed the personality and the background of each man to shine through his message for his time and, sometimes, for plain-speaking words from God. The messages from the prophets were cries to God’s people of their day, but their voices keep ringing out to our day because the nature of man has not changed neither has the purpose and will of God.
A series of lessons on the Prophets will be presented every Wednesday night during our Bible study hour. All adult classes are asked to attend all the presentations from June to August 2025. All Wednesday evening scheduled meals will continue as usual. We will provide extra cookies and drinks during this special series.
We are asking for donations of cookies to be delivered each Wednesday evening by 6:00pm.
We will have seven (7) external speakers and six (6) internal speakers (members of Cedar Hill church). An insert with all the topics and speakers for this "Cry Prophet Cry!" series is in this week's bulletin. Please attend and invite your neighbors and friends to this exciting series of lessons.
