Curtis Phillip brings a wealth of life experience, spiritual wisdom, and heartfelt compassion to his teaching. 

Married to his wife Paula for 44 years, Curtis is a proud father of two adult children and grandfather to five energetic blessings.

Curtis gave his life to Christ at age 21 and spent 21 years serving in congregations around the world during his military career. Since 2017, he has served faithfully as an elder at Cedar Hill Church of Christ.

With a deep passion for walking alongside those recovering from “hurts, hang-ups, and habits,” Curtis has been a dedicated leader in the Overcomers ministry for more than a decade—teaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to find “a better way to live” through the freedom found in Jesus.
